I wasn't sure if bugs were a huge problem still. That's the main reason i am wanting to buy one. Not sure if this happens to anyone but for some reason I find my bite rates decreasing going to the spot where I cast on land? From my experiences a kayak isn't really needed since most of the hot spots you can reach on land therefore you credits are probably better going to equipment. In other words, you'll be wasting LOTS of time messing with the kayak. Couple that with the fact that bigger fish have a tendency to pull you around and you'll spend lots of time you could be fishing getting your kayak back in the right position. Not to mention the fact it takes FOREVER to get anywhere using them. The kayaks take some time getting used to. If your cash reserves are such that you sre even DEBATING about whether or not to spend $35K, I would honestly advise you to skip the kayak and use that money to upgrade your equipment and for travel/license expenses.
